How To Write New post In WordPress
Step 1: As soon as you login into your WordPress website you will be in your dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the post from the left side menu. Just in the option “Posts” as we witness in the photo.
Step 3: Now you will be on the page of lists of posts now you have to click on the “Add New” option.
This will present a WordPress Editor, which allows you to write your own blog posts using a really intuitive block system.
So, To add text, simply click and type. In some content – like embedded YouTube images or videos, you can add new “blocks”.
Now, as soon as you will be on the editor page you will get a place to enter the title and the content.
The title of a blog post is the main heading of the post this must depict the main motto of the post. then under it, you will find the area to add content to your blog as I have done in the above picture.
Step 4: On the right side, you will get an option to Publish the post if you want to make it live. Also, there are options to draft the posts and there is the option to schedule the post.

Draft: With this option, it can be found out how many posts are in the draft so far.
Trash: From the trash option, it can be found out how many posts have been deleted so far, it works like a kind of dust bin, you will see deleted posts in this option.
Cornerstone content: This is a special type of content that is the best long and very important post of the blog.
What is All Post Option In WordPress
In WordPress, you can see the status of all the articles of the website in the all post option, such as the comments of each post, how many tags are used in an article, the category of the published article, the article’s published and last modified date, internal and external links, etc.
What Is Categories In WordPress
In WordPress, the categories are the easiest way to organize your posts. You can have parent and child sections, which makes your post-classification settings possible. In addition, a single post can be categorized into more than one category. This gives you a lot of flexibility to display exactly the posts you want, exactly the way you want them in widgets, menus, or directly in your WordPress theme.
How To Create a News Category
to create new categories in WordPress, go to Post> Categories Page.
On the left side of the page, you will see a tab that lets you create categories as seen in the picture below.
Fill in the category name, its slug (to be used in the URL section), the description of the category, and press Add New Category. For the purpose of this lesson, we will create a new section called Family Post.
Now the new section in your WordPress is ready. Now, let’s do a small section for Family Post called. Fill in the name and wrap it up as you did in the first section but this time selects Family Post as a parent in the new category. Then, press Add New Category again to save a new subcategory.
What Is Tags in WordPress
WordPress tags are one of the tools you can use to compile your posts, based on the same information.
Typically, tags are found at the bottom of the post or in the sidebar. When a visitor clicks on a specific tag, WordPress will open an archive page (tag page); identifying all posts and custom posts with the same tags.
Tags play an important role in organizing your content. They have a straightforward consequence on your user experience and SEO.
Write the tags and put commas in between to use multiple tags as in the below image.
How To Add New Tag In WordPress
It is very easy to put tags in WordPress, you can put them in two ways in the post.
The first way is that when you write a new post or edit an already written post, then you see the option of post on the right side of the screen, from where you can tag according to the post as shown below.
The second way is that you can add a tag by going to the post > tag, in this way you can create a new tag and edit the already created tag.
The second method is better than the first one for tags, where you can edit a new tag in addition to editing it and also create a new slug for it.
