How to Configure WordPress Discussion Settings

WordPress Discussion Settings is used for the conversation between the blogger and the user who visits the blog. This setting is managed by the blog administrator, which allows users to interact with your website via comments.   • First, go to the login panel of WordPress and login into WordPress with the help of a username and password. After successful login into WordPress, you will be able to see the dashboard.

  • To go to the Discussion setting of WordPress, you will see menu options on the left side of the dashboard. As you move the mouse cursor over the setting option, you will see a menu related to WordPress Discussion Settings, in which you have to click on the discussion option.

  3. If you check this box, you can set the particular comment time in your blog to publish a post. By default Comment day remains 14, it can be increased or decreased according to your requirement.
  4. If you check this check box, then you can allow users to comment and also get replies from other users.
  5. By checking in this option, if your post gets a lot of comments, then you can split the comment into different pages.
  6. if Checkmark this option to sort the comments in the ascending and descending order as per your requirement.

  • This option is used when you do not want your comment to be updated before being moderated by the admin

Avatars
